Tequila La Santa Aida Harfush Ron, as a tribute to our beloved mother, who, as we say in Mexico, she always has been a “Saint.” For that reason we decided to make the finest tequila in the world with all our passion. Our goal is bringing to Mexico and the whole world the best tequila with the highest quality, pure, honest, creative, and truth made without chemicals. Produced in Arandas, Los Altos de Jalisco zone with a designation of origin.
Our story
This project was born in 2014.
Team
We are a team of passionate experts and in love with this spirituous beverage. For 5 generations in the family we have taken step by step through the long process from the planting of the agave plant to its production, with respect and commitment to our tequila and mother nature as such.
Process
The growth of our selected blue agave takes 6 years or more, once the moment arrives, our artisanal process begins when we juice the pineapple and use only the center of the agave heart which is cooked manually in masonry ovens. Afterwards, we squeeze the juice, ferment it and finally distill it.
Relaxing
In this process the tequila is accompanied, harmonized and relaxed by classical music (researched by the japanese scientist Masaru Emoto in his book “The Hidden Messages of Water”) demonstrates how the liquid molecules are brought to life by the vibrations of classical music, harmonizing our body in a perfect way just by taking a sip.
Aging
Once relaxed, it is aged in American and French oak barrels for at least 12 months then filtered with activated charcoal plates, resulting in a tequila with long, intense agave flavors, robust body, creaminess and a noble smoothness on the palate.
And then...
According to anecdotes from a trip with our mother, she ordered a cappuccino with gold leaf by mistake. As a result, we added 24K gold, which has multiple benefits such as antioxidant, immune system reinforcement and anti-aging properties, all illuminated by an LED light. This is how the finest tequila in the world is born with all the love and passion we bring to be together in every celebration.
